Glebe House offers programmes for Children and Adults

Adults & Kids

Glebe House runs a number of programme activities for children and adults.
Our programmes are designed to meet the needs of our users and set at different levels depending on age and ability. We focus on developing mutual respect and understanding between all people and our activities are geared to meet these aims.
We make use of a wide range of themed activities and use experienced facilitators and staff to deliver these activities at the Glebe House Centre which offers an amazing natural and developed resource.

Glebe House Children’s residential activities

These take place throughout the year during school holiday periods and weekends. They are open to children from community organisations and children referred from voluntary and statutory agencies.
They are grouped into age ranges 7 – 12 years 13 – 15 years and older teenagers.
Most residentials run from 3 to 5 days and are run by Glebe House staff and experienced volunteers.
On all residentials the main theme is to provide a fun based educational programme of stimulating activities for the different age ranges. We take care to be as inclusive as possible in all of our work but due to certain restrictions we cannot cater for every need.
We try to address divisions in society and other important issues that affect all of us in our everyday life by using a variety of games and techniques to address these issues.

Residential activities can include:
Games sessions, Arts & Crafts, Donkey rides, Baking Sessions, Environmental activities, Picnics, Trips to the Beach and other areas of interest.
